Selections will vary depending on the month, with broccoli and strawberries available in June, beans and spinach in July, apples and corn available in August. Ask the staff for a copy of fruit and vegetable availability information.
Question 3: How long will the fruits and vegetables last after I purchase them?
Answer 3: Plan to eat fresh fruits and vegetables within 1-3 days of buying. Store them in the refrigerator to keep them fresh longer. About 1 pound of produce provides 3-4 servings.
