An individual may request an official application for Refugee Cash Assistance (RCA) and Refugee Medical Assistance (RMA) by contacting any District Office. The application may also be accessed online. RCA/RMA applicants must be determined ineligible for all regular DFA financial or medical assistance programs before eligibility for RCA/RMA is determined.
Individuals have the right to:
• apply for assistance;
• file an application on the same day the District Office has been contacted; and
• have an eligibility decision made on their application for assistance.
