305.17 Qualified Aliens with Restricted Eligibility Based on Date of Entry into the U.S. (FAM)

The following qualified aliens are EITHER:

• eligible, if residing in the U.S. * before 8/22/96; OR

• ineligible for 5 years from date of entry into the U.S., when such entry occurred on or after 8/22/96:

- lawfully admitted permanent residents regardless of work history;

- conditional entrants;

- parolees; and

- victims of family/domestic violence.
