808.01 Initial Appraisal (FAM)

The Family Service Specialist conducts an initial appraisal with *FANF applicants at the eligibility interview.

If the individual is determined eligible for cash assistance and is a mandatory participant in NHEP, the individual must participate in an assessment with the Employment Counselor Specialist at the Service Determination Appointment (SDA). See Section 808.15, Orientation, and Section 808.17, Service Determination Appointment and Ongoing Assessments.
