909.01 Changes in NH Child Care Scholarship Due to Birthdays (FAM)

The NH Child Care Standard Rate is based on the child’s age in months, provider type, and the authorized level of service, and is paid on a weekly basis.

Terminate NH Child Care Scholarship for children turning 13 years old effective on their birthday.

A child under the age of 79 months, regardless of the family’s Step level, cannot receive NH Child Care Scholarship if the child attends a License-Exempt Child Care Center.

Exception: A child may continue to be eligible for NH Child Care Scholarship up to age 18 if the child’s physical and/or mental condition is such that the child would cause harm to him/herself or to others without supervision. See Section 919.01, Required Verification.
