An individual has the right to apply for any category of financial or medical assistance administered by the Division. If eligible for more than one category, the individual must choose one. An individual eligible for both TANF financial assistance and SSI must choose one or the other.
An individual may be eligible for and receive financial or medical assistance under one category, while other members of the same family unit are eligible for and receive financial assistance under other categories.
