An authorized representative (AR) may assist or represent an individual in any aspect of the eligibility or Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) process. See FAM707 , Issuing Benefits, for additional information on AR’s and EBT.
The AR is a person chosen by the individual who:
• Assumes all applicant and recipient functions; and
• Acts on behalf of the individual in all or some of the aspects of initial and continuing eligibility.
