715.09 NSWF and the NHEP Work Program (FAM)

Because NSWF recipients must be working at least 35 hours a week, all NHEP work participation requirements are considered to have been met as long as NSWF remains open. All single NSWF parents are automatically enrolled in the NHEP Work Program with:

• all NHEP work participation requirements waived;

• the NHEP Orientation requirement waived;

• no weekly verifications needed; and

• no meetings with NHEP Employment Counselor Specialists (ECS) required.
