HomeCare Works is a specialty on-the-job training program. This 6-month core employment activity is for unlicensed, entry-level home care workers. Special retention bonuses for employers and training stipends for participants are included as incentives to attract and build capacity in this in-demand occupation.
Documentation and Verification
The number of countable hours of participation will be determined by using a pay stub, or, if unavailable, other employer generated verification. The countable hours for employment will be projected for up to 6 months. Enter the actual verified information into New HEIGHTS from the individual’s verification. Participants will be instructed to notify their worker of any changes in employment information within 10 days.
