Previous Policy


Allow unreimbursed expenses only when the individual is enrolled and regularly attending, at least on a half-time basis, with the program objective of gainful employment.

If the individual is working, allow unreimbursed expenses if the training is not related to the individual's current employment. Training expenses related to an individual's employment are considered an employment expense deduction. See Section603.03, Employment Expense Deduction.
