Each household has the right to a fair hearing to appeal a denial or termination of benefits. If a participating individual’s household’s benefits continue through the fair hearing, and the termination of benefits is upheld, the ineligibility or disqualification period begins on the first of the month after the District Office is notified of the hearing decisions.
