The long-range goal of the voluntary Food Stamp Employment & Training (FSET) Job Search Program is to help individuals support their families by accepting and retaining employment.
The voluntary FSET Job Search Program offers assistance towards self-sufficiency through *all the following activities:
• job search coaching;
• referrals to training; and
• referrals to supportive services.
Able-bodied adults without dependents (ABAWDs) have special work requirements. ABAWDs may volunteer for the FSET Job Search Program. However, hours spent participating in the FSET Job Search Program cannot be used to meet ABAWD work requirements. See PART 245, ABLE BODIED ADULTS WITHOUT DEPENDENTS, for a description of the ABAWD work requirements.
