Beginning in 2010, statewide community mental health providers have had an opportunity to support their efforts to achieve the thresholds for standards of fidelity under the Evidence Based Supported Employment (EBSE). EBSE is defined as the provision of vocational supports to individuals following the Supported Employment Implementation Resource Kit developed by Dartmouth Medical School to ensure successful competitive employment in the community.
Funding to community mental health providers for
approved project proposals were made available to
(a) assist agencies to operationalize, sustain, and
integrate EBSE into their service delivery processes;
(b) provide resources for intensive training and
technical assistance in addition to what is being
provided by BBH, and, (c) develop infrastructures
that support EBSE service delivery and sustainability.
The proposals were based on the agency’s Quality
Improvement Plan (QIP) based upon agency’s self-
assessment of their most recent fidelity audit for EBSE.
