When do we meet?
The regional teams meet the third Wednesday of every month from approximately 4-6:30pm. There is a statewide meeting of all the regional teams third Wednesday of every third month from 4:30pm to 7:00pm at the Dolloff Building located on the grounds of the Department of Health and Human Services located at 129 Pleasant Street Concord, NH 03301.
How do I join?
It's simple! Just contact the adolescent worker 
in your geographic area or have your social worker or JPPO contact them. New members are always welcomed, we encourage all youth to come to at least one meeting, and you are not bound to return in the future. We do encourage you to come back as often as you would like because without your voice we cannot change things for the better!
What have we accomplished?
- By word of mouth YAB members have encouraged youth from across the state to attend meetings. The first meeting in 2004, attended by only five youth has grown into five regions and with over 50 youth participating.
- NH Teen Voices has it's own newsletter.
- The NH Teen Voices has assisted in the coordination and development of seven statewide Teen Conferences.
- NH Teen Voices has taken part in numerous community causes including participation in the National Alliance for the Mentally Ill (NAMI) walk, collecting donations for the NH Food Bank and the creation of holiday cards for the hospital patients.
- NH Teen Voices collaborated with DHHS Commissioner John Stephen, Governor and Council Member Ray Burton and state Senator Lou D'Allesandro to create tuition waiver legislation and successfully advocated for its passage. The law that became official on July 17, 2007, allows up to 20 former foster care youth per year to attend any NH state college free of tuition and fees. To date 57 waiver slots have been awarded!
