When traveling to different countries, plan on addressing your health needs at least 2 months before you leave.

AirplaneAll countries have their own list of recommended immunizations. Contact your primary care provider or a certified travel clinic Adobe Acrobat Reader Symbol to find out what immunizations you will need. Before you travel, make sure you and your children are up-to-date on your regular immunizations.

 

Remember to pack these important items:

  • Prescription medications
  • Over-the-counter medications you usually take
  • Health insurance ID

Food and water precautions:

  • Drink only bottled water or boiled water.
  • Only eat food that is fully cooked.
