Nutrition and Physical Activity

Physical activity and healthy eating are key strategies for reducing and preventing overweight and obesity. Achieving and maintaining a healthy weight helps reduce the risk for diabetes, heart disease, stroke, and other chronic disease. The Healthy Eating and Physical Activity Section includes the:

  • Diabetes Education Program
  • Obesity Prevention Program
