LICENSING AND EVALUATION COORDINATOR
NEW HAMPSHIRE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES
Office of Operations Support / Concord

Starting Salary Range: $36,289.50 - $42,744.00 + 30% Enhancement

SCOPE OF WORK: To evaluate the care and treatment provided to a variety of patient groups in various health care settings, with responsibility to perform specialized nursing assessments individually or as a team leader of a multidisciplinary team, for the purpose of determining compliance with state licensure requirements and federal Medicare/Medicaid certification standards.

REQUIREMENTS:
Education:
Bachelor's degree from a recognized college or university with major study in nursing or a related human services field.  Each additional year of approved formal education may be substituted for one year of required work experience.

Experience: Four years' experience as a Registered Nurse practicing in long term care, assisted living, or in a health care setting.  Each additional year of approved work experience may be substituted for one year of required formal education.

License/Certification: Must be eligible to hold a valid New Hampshire driver’s license and/or have access to transportation for statewide travel.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: For appointment consideration, applicants must successfully participate in a structured interview measuring possession of knowledge, skills and abilities identified as necessary for satisfactory job performance by this class speciation.  The structured interview is developed and administered according to Division of Personnel guidelines, by representatives of the state agency in which the vacancy exists. Must be willing and able to travel in and out-of-state, including overnight stays, and attend out-of state training sessions as assigned.

FOR POSITIONS ASSIGNED TO HEATH AND HUMAN SERVICES ONLY: Must be able to satisfactory complete or meet additional training criteria relevant to the assigned program area; such as but not limited to: CMS Basic Life Safety Code Course, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), Surveyor Minimum Qualifications Test (SQTM).

Employees will be required to pay an agency/union fee.
