PLANT MAINTENANCE ENGINEER III
NEW HAMPSHIRE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES
New Hampshire Hospital / Concord
Starting Salary Range: $40,372.80 - $47,507.20
SCOPE OF WORK: Performs responsible technical, administrative, and supervisory work in directing a program of building and equipment maintenance at a large State institution.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Associate's degree from a recognized college or technical school with major study in the field of engineering or building trades. Each additional year of approved formal education may be substituted for one year of required work experience.
Experience: Six years' experience in maintenance and repair or construction of buildings or facilities including three years in a supervisory or administrative capacity. Each additional year of approved work experience may be substituted for one year of required formal education.
License/Certification: Must possess a valid driver’s license in the state in which the employee resides, with appropriate endorsements required for the type of vehicle being operated. Must possess or successfully complete a Defensive driving Course as approved by the New Hampshire Safety Council within the first six (6) months of employment. As a condition of and prior to hire, the applicant must have verified their current New Hampshire driving record supplied by the Dept. of Safety, Division of Motor Vehicles indicating no major traffic violations.
Preferred Qualifications: Skilled in drawing/sketching and reading of -architectural/engineering drawings. Familiar with computers. Some knowledge in the horticulture, floriculture, or landscaping fields. Candidates with the above special qualifications are preferred.
