SUPERVISOR VI
NEW HAMPSHIRE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES
Division for Children, Youth & Families / Concord
Salary Range: $48,769.50 - $57,934.50

SCOPE OF WORK: To supervise & coordinate development of planning reports and perform high level analysis of system performance data and recommend and monitor target performance indicators for the Division for Children, Youth & Families (Child Protection Services (CPS), Juvenile Justice Services (JJS) and the Sununu Youth Services Center (SYSC)). Review, organize, analyze and interpret data, research, policy and procedures in order to arrive at recommendations for achieving & implementing major aspects of short- and long-term statewide organizational goals. Upholds the vision and mission of the agency through utilizing the Practice Model theories, beliefs and principles in daily practice.

REQUIREMENTS:
Education:
Master's degree from a recognized college or university with a major study in a planning related field such as business administration, public administration, mathematics, accounting, statistics, economics or a field of study related to social sciences or the child welfare field.

Experience: Six years’ experience performing management analysis and planning responsibilities, including duties related to data analysis and management, longitudinal projections, budget analysis, and statistical analysis, plus four years in a supervisory or management level position in any occupational area. If related to the program area, the supervisory or management experience will count as part of the six years’ total experience. Each additional year of approved work experience may be substituted for one year of required formal education at the graduate level only.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:  For appointment consideration, Supervisor VI applicants must successfully participate in a structured interview measuring possession of knowledge, skills and abilities. Applicants’ responses to questions asked in the structured interview will be numerically rated.
