SUPERVISOR IV
NEW HAMPSHIRE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES
Office of Operations Support / Brown Building
Salary Range: $44,752.50 - $53,137.50
Plus 30% Enchancement

SCOPE OF WORK: Administers the overall planning coordination, directing and evaluation of health facilities licensing & regulation functions for a wide variety of residential and non-residential health facility programs within the Health Facility Licensing Unit; performs duties in the specialized field of licensing, regulation and enforcement of health facility programs; evaluates policies, programs, operations and data for use in developing and implementing legislatively mandated health facility programs by planning long term policies, interpreting data, and managing personnel in the Health Facility Licensing Unit, Bureau of Licensing and Certification, Office of Operations Support.

REQUIREMENTS:
Education:
Bachelor's degree from a recognized college or university with major study in public administration, health management, social services, child or adult human development, human services or other discipline focused on adults/children, health or social programs.  Each additional year of approved formal education may be substituted for one year of required work experience.

Experience: Five years' experience in health management, social services delivery, or adult/child development, plus three years in a supervisory or management level position in any occupational area. If related to the program area, the supervisory experience will count as part of the five years' total experience.  Each additional year of approved work experience may be substituted for one year of required formal education.

Special Requirements: For appointment consideration, Supervisor IV applicants must successfully participate in a structured interview measuring possession of knowledge, skills and abilities identified as necessary for satisfactory job performance by this class specification.  The structured interview is developed and administered, according to Division of Personnel guidelines, by representatives of the state agency in which the vacancy exists.

License/Certification:  Must hold a valid license as a Registered Nurse in the State of New Hampshire.  Must be eligible to hold a NH driver's license and have access to transportation for statewide travel.

Employees will be required to pay an agency/union fee.
