PROGRAM SPECIALIST IV
NEW HAMPSHIRE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES
Office of Information Services / Concord
Starting Salary Range: $44,752.50 - $53,137.50
SCOPE OF WORK: To evaluate work procedures and to plan the development and modification of data, policies and procedures for the Department’s Data Warehouse.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Master's degree from a recognized college or university with major study in management information systems, computer information systems, or computer science. Each additional year of approved formal education may be substituted for one year of required work experience.
Experience: Four years' professional experience business systems involving business data analysis, evaluation and reporting, with responsibilities in program research, planning, monitoring, and evaluation.
OR
Education: Bachelor’s degree from a recognized college or university with major study in management information systems, computer information systems, or computer science.
Experience: Five years’ professional experience in business systems involving business data analysis, evaluation and reporting, with responsibilities in program research, planning, monitoring, and evaluation. Each additional year of approved work experience may be substituted for one year of required formal education.
License/Certification: Eligibility for New Hampshire driver's license, if necessary for travel throughout the state.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in the use of one or more the following software applications/languages for data analysis – MS Access, MS Excel, MS Word, SQL constructs, or other similar data analytical software/tool. Experience developing business solutions based off of Oracle’s Endeca data discovery application. Experience in web page development.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: For appointment consideration, Program Specialist IV applicants must successfully participate in a structured interview measuring possession of knowledge, skills and abilities. Applicants’ responses to questions asked in the structured interview will be numerically rated.Employees will be required to pay an agency/union fee.
