PROGRAM SPECIALIST I
NEW HAMPSHIRE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES
Division of Family Assistance / Concord
Salary Range:
$17.88/hour - $23.80/hour
Part-time, 29 hours/week
SCOPE OF WORK: Researches and reviews multiple program policies, regulations and work procedures for use in writing rules, policies, procedures and informational materials used to implement state and federal programs administered by the Division of Family Assistance in the Office of Human Services. This position is assigned to the DFA Policy Unit in Program Operations and reports to the Program Specialist II.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Bachelor’s degree from a recognized college or university. Each additional year of approved formal education may be substituted for one year of required work experience.
Experience: Two years of professional or paraprofessional experience in performing research, reviewing eligibility of clients, or interpreting laws, rules, plans, regulations, or policies, with responsibility for planning, monitoring programs, or performing research. Each additional year of approved work experience may be substituted for one year of required formal education.
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from a recognized college or university.
License/Certification: Valid driver's license and/or have access to transportation if required for statewide travel.
